Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Nydex, a Discord community management platform. By using Nydex — as an organization installing the bot, or as a staff member using the dashboard — you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Nydex provides Discord server management tools including moderation, AutoMod, security/anti-raid features, member verification, automation, engagement tracking, and optional add-on modules. Nydex is a tool used under the authority of each Discord server's own administrators — it does not act independently of the server owner's configuration.

2. Discord permissions

By connecting Nydex to a Discord server via Discord OAuth, an administrator authorizes Nydex to access that server's profile, role, and message data as needed to provide the configured features, and to take moderation actions the server's staff configure it to take.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep your account credentials confidential.
• Ensure data you enter is accurate.
• Comply with applicable law and Discord's own Terms of Service.
• Do not use Nydex to harass, impersonate, or engage in unlawful activity.

4. Automated features

Some optional features use automated analysis to assist staff decisions (for example, application review). These tools support, but do not replace, staff judgment, and are never used to take irreversible action without a human-configured rule permitting it.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to: spam or harass others through the service; attempt to breach or attack Nydex's systems; copy or misappropriate Nydex's intellectual property; use automated scraping against the service without authorization; or use the service for unlawful activity.

6. Suspension

Nydex reserves the right to suspend accounts or organizations that violate these Terms, remove inappropriate content submitted through the service, and take action against abusive use.

7. Disclaimer

Nydex is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss, or service interruptions, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.

9. Changes to the service

We may update or discontinue features over time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of that change.
